Honeybee Bride (“we” or “us”) is committed to privacy and will only use the personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that you provide in accordance with the terms outlined below.      

It’s long, it’s boring, but it’s to protect you (+ us)!

Long in short this is about how we use your personal information, do not sell your credit cards on the black market, do our best to target advertise to you, to better understand and cater to your shopping needs, and a few more tidbits.

This Privacy Policy covers any information we obtain when you visit our website, use our services, or access the feature on any website(s) that we own or control (today or in in the future), including www.honeybeebride.com (collectively, the “Site”)

You can access the Site in many ways, including from a computer or mobile phone therefore this Privacy Policy will apply regardless the means of access. This Privacy Policy also governs the use of Personal Information we obtain from you, from any third party site or application where we post content or invite your feedback or participation, including but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram. We can not control the privacy policies or practices of websites or of companies that we do not own or control, and cannot control the actions of people not employed or managed by Honeybee Bride.

 We make sure to only keep information we need and properly discard what we don’t. We’re consumers as well, so we try following one of the golden rules our kindergarten teachers taught us: “Do onto others as you would like done onto you”. 

I. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information including credit card numbers, Apple Pay, Shopify Pay, Venmo, email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

 When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

 II. USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We use the Device and/or Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).

III. SHOPIFY

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. 

Our website is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us small guys with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

 -PAYMENT

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the payment card industry data security standard (pci-dss). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by pci-dss as managed by the pci security standards council, which is a joint effort of brands like visa, mastercard, american express and discover.
Pci-dss requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

IV. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

Please be aware that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. Please know we can use a third-party service provider to serve ads on our behalf across the Internet and sometimes on this Site. This anonymous information is collected through the use of a pixel tag, which is industry standard technology used by most major web sites. No personally identifiable information is collected or used in this process. They do not know the name, phone number, address, email address, or any personally identifying information about the user.

VI. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

How do you get my consent?
